Kudat is the capital of the Kudat district in the Kudat Division of Sabah, Malaysia. According to history, the original inhabitants of Kudat are the native Rungus people, a sub-group of the Dusun people, who traditionally lived inland in longhouse communities to stay beyond the reach of the pirates who frequented the coastline.
7:30 am: Depart from your hotel for about 3 hours to the northern Sabah
10:30 am: Visit the famous Bee Rearing Farm (Honey Bee Farm)
11:00 am: Visit Kampung Sumangkap Gong Factory
1200 pm: Visit Bavanggazo Village for visit to the Rungus Longhouse. Built entirely using local materials, it is a home to the Rungus community, a sub-tribe of the Kadazandusun. Traditional native lunch will be served at the longhouse.
0100 pm: Continue your journey for about 1 hour to Simpang Mengayau or also known as The Northern Tip Of Borneo. Enjoy the scenic view of the beautiful long white beaches where two oceans – South China Sea and Sulu Sea meet.
0200 pm: Transfer back to Kota kinabalu.
