0730hrs Pick up from hotel in Kota Kinabalu. Transfer to Poring Hot Spring in 3 hours drive. On the way to Kundasang, pass by small towns and villages until stop by at Nabalu Fruit Market for a break. Upon arrival at the Poring Hot Spring, proceed to the famous Canopy Walkway. The Walkway is 157.8m long and 41m high. You will have to hike for 20 minutes in order for you to reach at its site where you can have a bird’s eye view of the rainforest. Round trip takes about 40 minutes. Lunch served at local restaurant. After a tiring hike, take a refreshing dip of the hot sulphur in indoor or outdoor tubs which have health as well curative properties for skin diseases. Then, depart Poring and transfer to Kinabalu National Park for check in to Lodge/Room/Hostel. Register to the climb in advance. Dinner served at Balsam Restaurant. Overnight at the same Lodge/Room/Hostel.
Check out. Breakfast at Balsam Restaurant. After collected your packed lunch, together with your mountain guide, transfer to Timpohon Gate (Power Station). Start to ascend the mountain at 1,886m a.s.l until reach the mountain rest house (6km/4-5hrs walk). Upon arrival, check in to one of the rest house (heated/non heated dormitory). Dinner served at Laban Rata Restaurant. Overnight at one of the rest house (heated/non heated dormitory).
0230hrs, wake up call and have early breakfast. 0300hrs, start to summit to the highest peak of the mountain, Low’s Peak at 4,095.2m a.s.l (2.72km/2-3hrs walk). After witness the magnificent sunrise and took some photo for remembrance, descend back to the rest house. After breakfast at Laban Rata Restaurant, pack up and descend back to Timpohon Gate. Transfer to headquarter and collect your certificate of achievement. Lunch is served at Balsam Restaurant. After lunch, depart from the park and transfer back to your hotel in Kota Kinabalu.
